Re: Certified Private Applicator Recertification Trainings for Required CEU’s, Dicamba and Paraquat
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture now requires certified private applicators to complete 3 CEU’s before June 30, 2026 for another 3 year certification. We have scheduled 4 separate classes that each have been given approval for 3 CEU’s for private applicators who attend the entire class. There is also on-line trainings that can be completed through the University of Tennessee E-Learning site — K@TE. Below is the web-link to find the on-line classes eligible for Private Applicator CEU’s:

All 4 of the planned in person trainings will offer an opportunity for dicamba training & certification. Presently we are still awaiting the approval of the 2026 dicamba label. Thoughts are positive that this will happen but this not a guarantee. The dicamba training is not currently available to do virtually but they are hoping to have that added to the above web-site soon.
Meetings 2-4 will have a paraquat training like dicamba included for both private applicator CEU credit and product specific certification. Paraquat certifications are good for 3 years and many folks that use paraquat did their certification in 2023. The paraquat virtual training is listed on Syngenta’s website, not the UT K@TE web-site. Below is the web-site that you can go to for the virtual paraquat certification
The next 3 pages list the specific schedules for all 4 meetings.
